STUDENT IDs MUST BE DISPLAYED AT ALL TIMES. Please use your ID Card to enter the building. For safety reasons, please do not allow people you do not know to enter using your card. If you forget your ID Card or your card does not work, you must stop at the Front Desk.

HEARTS 4 HAITI. Let’s cover the plywood wall in the Atrium with Hearts for Haiti! Buy a heart for only $1 and post your heart on the wall. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross to be sent to Haiti. See any Student Council Member, Ms. Karen Durand, or Ms. Eichelman to buy a heart. Questions? See Tanya James.

GUESS WHAT? The Cutting Edge has a guessing game going on now. Guess how many candies are in the jar. If you’re right, you get to keep the jar and the candy! We’ll be by the front door through Feb. 11. Only $1 per guess!

WRITING LABS. Get English class help from Mr. Scanson on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 180 at 4:30pm.

MATH LABS. Get Math Help with Ms. Ladson on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 120 at 1pm and Ms. Robida on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 170 at 6pm.

TUTORING is available on Mondays at 5pm, Tuesdays at 2pm, and Wednesdays at 2pm in Room 170.  If you want help in any of your classes, just show up. Volunteer Tutors will be on hand to help you out.

STUDENT LOUNGE is in Room 90 until March 1. Please feel free to eat, make calls, and hang out there.

MORE VOLUNTEER TUTORS NEEDED. Please see Ms. Bing in the Library to find out how you can earn volunteer hours for your career portfolio. Tutoring times are 5pm on Mondays and 2pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL meeting is Thursday, Feb. 11 in Room 180 at 12:30pm. All students welcome.

NEW FAFSA SEASON. See Financial Aid to complete your new 2010-11 FAFSA in January.  If you file income taxes, you will need a copy of your 2009 Federal Tax Return (plus spouse or parent tax return if applicable). There will be a prize raffle for students who complete their FAFSA by March 1, 2009.

dress code. please dress professionally while on campus. No tank tops, bare bellies, baggy pants, flip flops, etc. In addition, students may not wear hats (including skull caps, ball caps, scarves, hoodies or any other type of head covering) while in class.

CELL PHONE POLICY. Please do not talk on your phone in front of classrooms and offices or in the Library. Thank you.
