• What is the cost of the service?

None. It's free to all MMTC students and alumni.

• Can the Career Services Office guarantee me a job?

The department acts like a job referral agency, career-counseling center, interview coaching service, and networking source. We assist you in your career search, but we cannot guarantee a job. We will, however, teach you how to create a career portfolio and handle job interviews so that you'll present your best appearance when job hunting.

• What is a Graduate Seminar?

A Graduate Seminar is a mandatory Career Services seminar that occurs during your last term at the college, where you will receive information about your career and financial responsibilities as a graduate. The goal is to prepare you for graduation and life after college.

• What is an Exit Interview?

During your last term, you will receive a one-on-one exit conference with the Career Services Office to map out strategies for your successful career search. You will receive more information about this as you approach graduation. 

• What is an Externship?

An externship is an opportunity for practical application of your skills learned throughout your curriculum. Some programs, such as  Medical Assisting and Surgical Technology, require participation in an externship program. Other students may choose to do so within their discipline. An externship is an excellent way to gain valuable experience to enhance your resume and aid in your career pursuit.
