LIBRARY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
| HOURS: |
Monday-Thursday, 8am - 9pm and Friday, 10am - 1pm. |
| COLLECTION: |
The MMTC
Library collection of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs and VHS tapes
covers all program areas and classes offered at Miller-Motte plus career
development resources. The Library also offers an extensive list of
online resources for use on-site or from any PC with Internet access. |
| BORROWING: |
Current MMTC Charleston students,
staff and faculty can borrow up to 3 books and
3 videos at a time. Books and videos can be borrowed for 7
days and renewed once. |

TUTORING: |
The ACT Center offers Free Tutoring to MMTC students. See the ACT (Academic Coaching
and Tutoring) Center Bulletin Board in the Library for details and
sign-up forms. |
| DATABASES: |
Current MMTC Charleston students,
staff and faculty can use the LIRN InfoTrac databases and the ebrary database.
Get the password at the Library Desk in Room 210. |
| COMPUTERS: |
Current MMTC Charleston students,
staff and faculty can use the PCs in the Library to perform research and do
class assignments. PC Policies are posted in the Library. Bring in your
laptop -- wireless is available. |

FEES |
|
| PHOTOCOPYING |
10˘/page. Change is available at the Library Desk. |
| OVERDUE ITEMS |
10˘ per day for books; 50˘ per day for videos. |
| LOST OR
DAMAGED ITEMS |
Replacement price of damaged or lost book or video, plus a $25 processing fee for each item.
(Just so
you know--we'd much rather get the borrowed books and videos back than charge you
for them.) |
